19th World Press Freedom International Editorial Cartoon Competition (Results)

Grand Prize: Luc Descheemaeker, Belgium

The jury (composed of seven members of the Canadian Committee of World Press Freedom) met on April 15th to select the winners of the 19th World Press Freedom International Editorial Cartoon Competition.

The theme, this year, was «Open season on journalists» and we received 370 entries from 29 countries.

Second Prize: Bruce MacKinnon, Canada

Third Prize: Gustavo Caballero Talavera (Guffo), Mexico

PRIMER PREMIO EN PREMIO DE HONOR POESÍA-CASTELLANO PARA RENÉ ARTURO CRUZ MAYORGA

REDUNDANCIAS

Las expresiones volver a recaer, volver a repetirse y volver a reanudarse son redundantes si se refieren a la primera recaída, repetición o reanudación, respectivamente.

La expresión orografía del terreno es redundante, puesto que la palabra orografía lleva implícita la idea de terreno.

La expresión recuperarse favorablemente es redundante, pues el verbo recuperarse ya implica mejora en el estado de quien se hallaba la persona.
